Short Biography

I advise international individuals and families in relation to inbound UK investment and relocating to the UK. I also advise trustees, beneficiaries, family offices, and private banks in relation to governance, succession planning and trust law. I am a leading specialist in international tax, having provided expert evidence to the High Court and being asked to consult with the UK Treasury in relation to changes to the non-UK domicile rules that were implemented in 2017. The majority of my work is cross-border, which often involves complex international treaty and conflict of law issues. However, I minimise complexity wherever possible and provide practical, commercial, usable advice. My advice encompasses both business and private assets and my clients, most of which are high profile individuals, range from technology entrepreneurs to dynastic business-owning families.
