Short Biography

Based in Madrid, Florentino is a partner at the Spanish law firm Cuatrecasas, is an expert in cross-border wealth structuring, intergenerational planning, and double taxation treaty application. Focusing on advising individuals, family offices, and international clients, he specializes in succession planning and investments in Spain. He developed his career at the firm’s London office during four years. An academician of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, he is currently its past president. He is also an international fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. This experience has enabled him to acquire in-depth knowledge of common law wealth structures. He lectures in the Master in European Union Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) being a member of the program's academic board and international tax and estate planning- in the masters in tax at UC3M and Universidad de Navarra in Madrid

The world is becoming smaller and smaller. International tax planning will continue to grow. The families looking more to personal security, asset protection and services than to taxes. .
