Short Biography

Álvaro is co-founder of Kinship and Partner specialising in International Taxation and Private Clients. He has extensive previous experience from his work in prestigious international firms. Álvaro regularly advises on transactions of varying complexity that require a comprehensive 360-degree vision. His clients value his solid knowledge, as well as his excellent responsiveness, extremely focused on quality of service. Álvaro is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.

What is your favorite restaurant to take a client or colleague to?

O'Pazo Restaurant in Madrid; Antonio's Restaurant in Zahara (Cadiz) during the summer season.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Partners do not own goodwill. They simply manage it as stewards in the interest of the firm and future partners.

What was your first job?

I created a technological start-up to try to help students find their career paths and provided higher education institutions with leads for their programs.

What is the book you recommend to everyone?

Blindness by the Portuguese author Jose Saramago.

What changes do you expect to see in your practice over the next year?

An industry approach will consolidate. Private client attorneys will advise on several areas of the law to provide a better service to their clients.
