Short Biography
Yves Philippart de Foy is a Counsel in the Tax Law practice of Arendt & Medernach. He advises on national and international tax issues with a focus on regulated and unregulated fund structuring, private equity, real estate and finance transactions, as well as private wealth structuring for Luxembourg resident and non-resident high net worth individuals. He is also involved in transactions relating to Spanish and Latin American investments and investors. Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2015, he worked as a senior tax advisor with one of the Big Four firms in Luxembourg, where he mainly advised on regulated and unregulated real estate investment structures, holding and financing activities and cross-border corporate reorganisations. Yves is a member of the Luxembourg Bar. Yves holds a Master’s in Business Law as well as an advanced Master’s in Tax Law from the Université de Liège (Belgium).

Yacine advises a broad client base on a wide range of tax matters. Yacine advises UHNWIs, international families, family offices and family backed multinational groups on cross border structuring aspects (including on the setting up of holding platforms or investment funds as well as on M&A, real estate and venture capital transactions). He is usually involved on multifaceted family governance and wealth planning topics. Yacine also provides Luxembourg direct and indirect tax assistance to private equity and real estate investment funds.
