Short Biography

Tax partner in the Barcelona office of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. She has experience in advising private clients, with a particular focus on cross-border issues regarding tax residence and estate planning. In her 20 years of experience, she has advised numerous foreign private clients on their relocation to Spain, as well as on the structuring of their assets and on the review of existing structures, such as trusts, private foundations, etc., in order to organise them efficiently and plan their generational transmission via donations or inheritance.

What changes do you expect to see in your practice over the next year?

Tax inspections are becoming more and more aggresive, increasing criminalization of the tax practice. To defend our clients' fundamental rights against these practices may, unfortunately, be a major part of our work.
