What has been the highlight of your practice over the past 12 months?

A highlight has been being involved in the reorganisation and liquidation of investment structures that I formed years ago, proving that they were well structured and they work.
CRS has changed the way clients are willing to structure their wealth, this is positive and clients recognise that my previous advice has been rendered with professionalism.
Also, being involved in the formation of STEP’s branch in Mexico and meeting many of its members in other countries has been rewarding.

How did you get into private client?

As a young associate, I was involved in a complex estate planning structure. I was excited about all the legal issues you have to consider. On the other hand I realised that to give adequate advice it was necessary to know the family in depth. I still like that personal aspect. There is a lot to learn from our clients.

Do you have any outside interests or hobbies?

Art (mainly Latin American art) and trying new food.

When the restaurants reopen, where would you like to go?

Havre 77, Mexico City.
