What has been the highlight of your practice over the past 12 months?

Acting for the beneficiary of a trust involved in hard fought divorce proceedings in circumstances where the trust assets, which constituted the bulk of the marital wealth, were not under the control of the trustee. After numerous applications to the Royal Court on a number of different issues, we succeeded in requiring the trustee to take steps to take control of the trust assets and ultimately make a significant distribution to our client in settlement of the divorce proceedings.

Get to know your fellow private client practitioners - the private client world is a small one.

What is your favourite quote?

"If our expectations - if our fondest prayers and dreams are not realised - then we should all bear in mind that the greatest glory of living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time you fall," Nelson Mandela.
