Based in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands, FFP provides fiduciary, restructuring, trustee and registered office and agent services.
Our mandates are complex and often contentious, involving elements of problem solving, restructuring, litigation or distress. These situations range from family or corporate disputes, to litigation, white collar crime and money laundering allegations, regulatory infractions and proprietary tracing disputes. We regularly control companies, partnerships and trusts in a wide range of jurisdictions as part of an engagement.
We frequently see that a breakdown in relations between parties, whether structured for a family or on a corporate basis, can leave current service providers either conflicted or unable to act in order to protect the value of the trust’s assets and interests of the stakeholders.
Our engagement as objective, independent professionals who are free from conflict or involvement in prior disputes can begin the resolution of what are often very sensitive situations.
We also recently launched an investment management and advisory service to complement existing managers and advisers based onshore who administer offshore structures.
