Professional Biography
Emily is Managing Partner of Forsters. Working closely with the senior leadership team and the wider partnership, she is responsible for the operational management and strategic direction of the firm. Emily is directly involved in financial and regulatory issues, staffing and senior recruitment and all business development activity so as to ensure that Forsters is well positioned to meet the needs of its domestic and international client base and to build on the firm’s long-running success. Emily's focus prior to becoming Managing Partner has been her contentious trust and estates practice (CTE). Her experience includes acting in relation to cases involving challenges to the validity of wills, rectification claims, removal of executors, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, breach of trust claims, trustee fees disputes and professional negligence claims arising in the context of trust and estates work, plus Court of Protection work.
