What advice would you give a trainee just starting out?

It's quite simple. Exhibit a great work ethic with enthusiasm and inquisitiveness, ask questions, be logical, work hard and be patient. The rest will follow.

What do you do when you're not working? Any hobbies?

Something I must, in all honesty, advice all youngsters, have hobbies. Unfortunately, work is also my hobby and I have not developed anything meaningful outside work as yet. This should not be the case with you. I have a task to develop a meaningful occupation outside work!!

What would you do if you weren't a lawyer?

I would have been a Singer or would have done something associated with music.

What is the book you'd recommend to everyone?

I have two books to recommend that I have enjoyed. They are both non-fiction. One is a book by Isadore Sharp titled Four Seasons: The Story of a Business Philosophy. It is an inspiring memoir. The next is an old book by Roger Enrico titled The Other Guy Blinked. This is a book of early days of Cola wars. It tells you that in business you can blink and lose a fortune in that split second.
