What has been the highlight of your practice over the past 12 months?

Representing a number of clients in complex High Court matters which I anticipate will be reported in due course and one of which, if it goes to trial, will make new law. It is always a privilege to be involved in cases at the very forefront of my practice area.

What advice would you give rising stars/new lawyers in the private client world?

There is no shortcut to earning the trust of private clients and building a reputation for your work. Those starting out in the industry should focus on developing the key skills needed to engage with individuals and advise well.

What is your favourite quote?

“Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it,” Bruce Lee.

Do you have any outside interests or hobbies?

I have a long standing interest in the impact of early life and childhood trauma on future life chances and am proud to be a Trustee of a wonderful charity, 3Pillars Project, who do excellent work in London and beyond, engaging with young people who are vulnerable to crime and who want to take a more positive direction in their lives. I also enjoy reading and all forms of exercise and fitness.

When the restaurants reopen, where would you like to go?

Sorella in Clapham, London which I joyfully discovered during "Eat out to Help Out".
