What has been the highlight of your practice over the past 12 months?

Acting for a lender in a long running dispute in relation to its security over significant properties in London and Paris where the borrower, a politically exposed person with famous family connections, was accused of well publicised financial crime in France and his wife claimed an interest in the properties as matrimonial properties.

How did you get into private client?

In the Cayman Islands this was a significant area of work. I qualified as a STEP practitioner whilst there (2003-2016).

Do you have any outside interests or hobbies?

I like gardening in my spare time, which has been great in lockdown. I have spent a lot of time in my garden and this year it is looking particularly colourful.

When the restaurants reopen, where would you like to go?

I like the restaurants at The Grove near Watford.
